Sofia Sampethai, CEng, TWI Senior Project Leader presented the work currently pursued in Graphosite project (https://lnkd.in/gpyJwX4) during the Nano Carbon Enhanced Materials Conference on the 10th and 11th of July in Cambridge.
Sofia was also able to present TWI’s capabilities in different fields such as condition monitoring and composite materials. Along with Charlotte Vacogne Senior Project Leader at TWI and A J Nithin from Brunel Composites Centre, they had the opportunity to discuss with key players from relevant companies such as Airbus Defence and Space and MBDA the Graphosite project and the use of a graphene sensor as an efficient tool for structural health monitoring in composite materials.
